Counselling

What is counselling?

 Counselling or 'talk therapy' involves a therapist who helps you explore your thoughts, behaviours and emotions. You take steps togther towards growth, joy, strength, and acceptance for your wellbeing.

 Counselling can provide support and companionship while you go through seasons in your relationships that require growth, and change.

What is involved?

A trained counsellor and a client work together on problems the client may be facing. The counsellor will provide a  safe space for clients to voice their fears, thoughts and struggles. A session can be online or face-to-face in an office.

 

 We understand it can be hard to change and see unhealthy patterns in your life; that's where counselling can help. Clients have a chance to give a voice to their painful and traumatic experiences, changes, anxiety, fear, grief, and hopelessness. Finding a way to look at your experiences in a new way can help.


We believe that it is important to listen to your feelings, you body, and your thoughts; giving them a voice before we can move past and heal.  We understand often it is being heard, understood, and safe to speak your truth that makes the difference in people's lives.  


Relationships take work and commitment from the people involved. If you are experiencing domestic violence, the ongoing effects of these experiences and long-term suffering can cause deep wounds. We offer a safe space to share your experiences, fears and show empathy and understanding.
