Payment invoices are sent via email at the time of SMS confirmation. Payment is made securely via Stripe and is required before the session starts.

Session & important information

Session and Payment

Sessions for individual counselling run for 50 minutes via Zoom. The link to my Zoom room, which will remain the same, will be sent via SMS prior to your first telehealth counselling session.

Session Confirmation

You’ll receive an SMS reminder before your individual counselling telehealth session. Please reply Y to confirm your attendance or N if you can no longer attend. If you wish to reschedule your session, we can also arrange that via SMS. However, once confirmed, the session is reserved for you, and the full fee applies if cancellation does not occur within the 24 hour period.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your individual telehealth counselling appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations or non-attendance will incur the full session fee.

Late Arrival and early departure

If you arrive late for your individual counselling session, it will still conclude at the scheduled time to respect other bookings. Even in telehealth counselling, if you choose to end a session early, the full session fee will still apply.

Rebates & Health Funds

Sessions for individual counselling are not eligible for Medicare rebates (GP Mental Health Care Plans). However, some private health insurers may offer rebates for telehealth counselling, so please check with your fund.

Can I change my booking?

You can change your booking up to 24 hours before your session. Please SMS me on 0409 952 586 and we can work together on dates and times that work best.

What if there is an unavoidable emergency?

I understand that life can throw some spanners. If there is an unavoidable emergency, please reach out to me via SMS and notify me as soon as possible. Half fees will be charged instead of full fee in this circumstance.

Do I need to sign up for Zoom?

The answer is no. You only need the link I provide. There is no fee to you, no set up of the Zoom app, you simply click on the link and wait in my virtual waiting room until your session time. The link never changes so it is easy, especially if you are not tech savy!

Do you offer after hour sessions and do they cost more?

I offer after hour sessions but they are limited. Please reach out via SMS so we can discuss if we can accomodate your preferred times/days. After hour sessions are charged a $10 after hours fee.
